The PLACE Dialogues is an initiative of Memorial University researchers and community partners from across Newfoundland and Labrador. The event connects community leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and academics to discuss challenges and opportunities for rural development while building a cross-sector network.
THE PLACE FRAMEWORK OF COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
The lessons learned during past Dialogues helped us created the PLACE Framework of Community Resilience. The 5 key principles were labelled and organized to form the acronym "PLACE", meant to honour the love of community that the highly motivated community leaders show daily.
